Well what can I say? My house sold at the price I had in mind. Maybe a wee bit more even. That is all thanks to Joan and Sean.
Ten years. That’s how long Joan kept knocking on my door asking if I was interested in selling. Not the bothersome salesman kind. I’ve seen agents come and go. Other people showed up a few times and disappeared. Joan stayed. The day I decided to sell, only one person came to mind.
Joan gave solid advice on how to make the house more appealing, and we went through more than one pricing strategy. She guided me through the renovation, even on things that weren’t really her job. Shout-out to Sean — he popped by to help, he’s handy as hell, fixed a lot of little things, and saved me a ton of time and hassle. Fun to hang out with, too. Together they got the house finished and on the market in a short time.
The first week we got several offers, all at asking. We didn’t rush. Her call was right. Patience paid off with a very fair price — the number I wanted, even a little better. The deal closed clean.
