It was a fantastic night! We had so many people show up! Big line at the scope, but afterwards, the atmosphere was dead steady and I was able to get these shots holding my samsung fold 4 up to the eyepiece! These are single frames without modification. You could clearly see the red spot on Jupiter with the eye and boy was it actually orange red. I thought that was Io’s shadow, but it is actually Callisto in front of Jupiter. Best I have seen Jupiter in years!
